Rebuilding

Mnemo is being rebuilt, so downloads are paused while we finish the new desktop app. We are moving Mnemo to a new interface and rebuilding every screen. Some screenshots on the site still show the current app while the new version takes shape.

Overview

The widget board you land on, and how to rearrange it.

Overview is the page Mnemo opens on: a board of widget tiles. A new profile starts with one already filled in.

Customizing the board

Customize starts an edit session. Drag a tile to move it, resize it with the size chips, or remove it; each widget supports its own set of sizes. Some widgets also carry a gear, and those settings belong to the tile rather than the widget type, so two copies of one widget can be set differently.

Done saves. Escape cancels, and so does leaving Overview, reverting the board to how it stood when you pressed Customize. Reset layout restores the starter board, and cancelling undoes that too.

Adding widgets

Add widget opens the gallery, where widgets are grouped under Study, Flashcards, Notes, and Soma. Adding drops a tile into the first free cell.

The Soma widget appears only when the assistant is switched on in Settings under AI & Tools. The Community group is not usable in this release: you cannot install a widget somebody else wrote.

  • Flashcards covers the decks the study tiles count.
  • Notes covers the notes the recent list draws from.
